I knew we are now in 2013, but I still wanted to post up some photo where I took during last year Melbourne Zombie Shuffle Parade.
The parade was held on 28 October 2012. Annual event happen in Melbourne. It was totally a fantastic chance for fellow photographer to train their photographic eye. It started afternoon 2.30pm (the weather is quite hot!). Everyone was ready near REB after lunch.
All the participants are very photo friendly. Some of them even pose for photo.
The range of their age also very board, there are small baby till some senior citizen members.
Although I knew that my exam was around the corner, I did not miss this opportunity of photographing large event happen on the street. (yes, street photography is my fav, no control over the surrounding, or ambient, just snap what I could.)
Extra Information,
I was on a very simple set up:
On camera flash with ultra wide angle, Canon Portrait Pic Style JPEG. (4,-1,0,1)
The reason I shooting Jpeg was running low of memory, I would like to try off camera flash or duo camera flash next time.

A brief History about Zombie Parade of the world
The earliest zombie walk on record was held on 19 August 2001 in Sacramento, California.[7][8] The event, billed as "The Zombie Parade," was the brain-child of Bryna Lovig, who suggested it to the organizers of The Trash Film Orgy[9] as a way to promote their annual midnight film festival. It was held again on 27 July 2002, and has since become an annual event,[10] drawing over 1000 participants in 2012.[11]
The idea spread to other cities and in October 2003 the second zombie gathering on record, billed as a "Zombie Walk" was held in Toronto,Ontario.[12][not in citation given] It was organized by local horror movie fan, Thea Munster, and had only six participants.[13][not in citation given] In subsequent years the Zombie Walk grew tremendously in size.[14] The Zombie Walk then moved to Vancouver, B.C. and spread the zombie walk tradition to that city.[15] On 27 August 2005, over 400 participants proceeded through Vancouver's Pacific Centre Mall, travelled on the SkyTrain (referred to for the event as the "SkyBrain" or the "BrainTrain") and continued 35 blocks to Mountain View Cemetery.[16][not in citation given]
The mid to late 2000s saw an exponential gain in popularity for zombie walks due largely to the increase of successful zombie films at the time, theResident Evil movies, 28 Days Later, Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead, George A. Romero's Land of the Dead, and Zombielandbeing a few examples. Documentation of the phenomenon appeared in mainstream news media[17] and blogs, such as Boingboing and the Blog of the Living Dead. Zombie walks soon spread across North America and to cities around the globe, such as Mar del Plata, Argentina.[18] On 27 October 2012, Singapore's first large-scale zombie walk - Singapore Zombie Walk - will be held in Clarke Quay at 829pm.[19] Rio de Janeiro had its first Zombie Walk on 2 November 2007 (Day of the Dead holiday) and the event has become annual since then.[20]

Hordes of the undead will overtake the Melbourne CBD on Sunday October 28, 2012. Zombies will meet 2:30pm at Carlton Gardens north of CBD, before shuffling along a predetermined route through the streets of Melbourne City for approximately 1.5 hours ending at the Riverslide Skate Park of Alexandra Gardens, south of the CBD.
2012 also sees a ‘bloody’ good night of music, booze and mayhem following the shuffle with the first Official Melbourne Zombie Shuffle Aftermath ‘DEAD END’ at the Corner Hotel. A ‘hell’ of a line-up featuring THE SNOWDROPPERS, DRUNK MUMS, BURN IN HELL, DOUBLEBLACK and CHERRYWOOD will rock the Corner Hotel as the undead party. All survivors welcome too, but guard your brains!
